The Englewood Complete Streets study includes the Downtown District on Broadway and the Medical District on Old Hampden Avenue.
The central focus of the Downtown District is the Broadway historical main street corridor. This corridor includes the original Downtown District boundaries from US Hwy. 285 to Eastman Avenue as well as the additional stretch included in the South Broadway BID further north to Yale Avenue. The length of the entire corridor is 8 blocks (1 mile).
The central focus of the Medical District is the Old Hampden Avenue Corridor that serves as the front door to the Swedish Medical Center and Craig Hospital campus and connects the Medical District to Downtown. The Old Hampden Avenue corridor stretches 14 blocks from Broadway to Lafayette Street, just under 1 mile in length.
